Founded in 1882, Cycling Canada is the governing body for cycling in Canada. As the heart of Canada’s cycling community, our aim is to create and sustain an effective system that develops Canadian riders to achieve Olympic and World Championship medal performances.

With the vision of being a leading competitive cycling nation by 2020, Cycling Canada manages the national cycling team, hosts national and international events and administers community program to promote and grow cycling in Canada.

Canada Cycling Championships

The pinnacle event in Canadian cycling competition consists of nine events held annually across Canada from spring through fall attracting thousands of athletes and tens of thousands of spectators and fans.


Canada Cup Series – MTB

Cycling Canada’s premier national mountain biking racing series, consists of 15+ race days annually:

300-400 racers per event plus another 500-1,000 fans and spectators

Elite and development level athletes from Canada, U.S.A and abroad

March through September race calendar featuring iconic cycling resorts & destinations (BC, AB, ON, QC)


The BMX Canada Cup Series

Canada’s most premier national BMX racing series, consists of 4 race weekends annually:

200-400 racers per event plus another 500-1,000 fans and spectators

Elite and development level athletes aged 16-22 years

Venues include: Calgary, Toronto, Drummondville and Abbotsford
